Vegetables

Our vegetable project supports Community Clubs by providing 3 packets of seeds. Members grow and harvest the produce which they can sell for an income at the market. This income is then reinvested to allow their small businesses to grow. In conjuction with the seeds, members are also taught basic business and finance skills to be able to start a chicken business.

Tree Planting

This project provides the opportunity to plant a tree per unit for 25p.

It works by providing people suffering from poverty in Malawi with seedlings to be planted. In approximately 10 years these trees are then cut down.

These trees protect indigenous and endangered forests by providing the local people with a sustainable timber and fuel source which saves the natural environment from deforestation.

This allows the indigenous forest to naturally regenerate and local people suffering from poverty can improve their lives with the sustainable resources and income.

Pine and eucalyptus are some of the most common trees planted because they are fast growing and useful for both building and fuel.
